It’s my first year of trying to grow veg on a small allotment I’m sharing, and so far I’m really pleased with the results though it has been very slow this year due to all the rain we’ve had in the UK and a lack of sunlight. I’m also in a constant battle with a massive population of slugs and snails which have been trying to eat everything coming out of the ground including onions which I think is unusual, but very common this year because of the wet conditions.

Last sunday at a house in Bristol there was a musical gathering to launch a pond in Mal’s back garden. Neil made the pond and he also played in the band (Milon) that afternoon. Mal made tea and lovely cakes and about 10 people sat dotted around her small garden in the sun enjoying the mini festival event.
I’m continuing with my HDR project. There’s lots of great detail and colour in all that rust.
